Vineyard: Grapes hail from 42 diverse villages across Champagne, capturing the rich tapestry of the region's terroir. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes thrive in these sun-drenched vineyards, nurtured by generations of skilled vignerons.

Winemaking: Hand-harvested grapes undergo meticulous sorting and gentle whole-cluster pressing. Fermentation happens in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the grapes' vibrant character. No dosage (added sugar) is used, resulting in a Brut Nature expression with pure varietal expression and refreshing acidity.

Tasting Notes: The pale golden hue hints at the wine's liveliness. Aromas burst forth with a symphony of green apple, citrus zest, and delicate brioche notes. On the palate, a vibrant dance of ripe pear, yellow apple, Meyer lemon curd, and a touch of bitter almond unfolds, enveloped by a light, persistent mousse. The finish is clean and crisp, with lingering hints of minerality and toasted nuts.

Varietal: This cuvée is a harmonious blend of 33% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Noir, and 34% Pinot Meunier, showcasing the unique strengths of each grape variety. Chardonnay brings elegance and finesse, Pinot Noir adds depth and structure, while Pinot Meunier infuses a touch of fruitiness and roundness.

AVA: Champagne, France. This prestigious appellation boasts strict regulations and ideal growing conditions for cultivating world-renowned sparkling wines.

Production: Limited quantities are produced, ensuring each bottle receives meticulous attention to detail. This dedication to quality shines through in the wine's intricate layers and balanced expression.

Alcohol: Typically around 12% ABV, offering a refreshing and approachable drinking experience.

Sanger is the brand of the viticulture school in Avize, called Avize Viti Campus, an institution that dates back to the early 20th century when a successful and childless wine merchant in Cramant donated his caves to education. Though Sanger was founded in 1952, the first lessons were given at this facility in 1927, and since then, the Avize Viti Campus has owned and decided to bring their base wines to this facility to turn them into Champagne. Though their mission was education, they also sought to create a successful Champagne brand, believing that funding their materials through sales – understanding the commercial aspects of the business – is crucial to a complete education. To ensure the quality of the wines, Avize Viti Campus employs technicians and teachers who are constantly present in the vineyards and cellar. The institution does not waver in its commitment to continuing the great traditions of Champagne by educating its students in the best manner possible and creating a Champagne brand of impeccable quality, wines that hold their own in hallowed company. Bottled Brut Nature, or without dosage.
